Buy You, The World is a dark satire at the intersection of “Thelma and Louise” and “Dracula” with a surrealist twist. This film is written and directed by Eve Wright.

Our main characters, Sully and Charlotte, are on this road trip to the End of the World because of a dangerous deal they struck with one another. We learn the gruesome details of this deal as they traverse a cartoonishly Midwestern landscape filled with injury lawyers, themed motels, psychic love doctors, and the World’s Largest Stuffed Dinosaur.

Eve Wright is a writer, director, and producer from and based in Chicago. Eve's films focus on vulnerable, intimate, and utterly human women of color through the lens of surrealist and existentialist genre film. Her debut short film, The Scorekeeper, premiered at the Music Box Theater in February 2026. Her second short film, No Entry, was supported by the City of Chicago DCASE and is currently in post-production.
