As a community-based media arts organization, you are not only supporting Chicago Filmmakers but all who benefit from our programs and services. Local Filmmakers and Film Lovers have long relied upon Chicago Filmmakers for our world-class but affordable & subsidized classes, donation-based screenings, job placement training programs, space and equipment rental, and for helping to fiscally sponsor and fund projects that are relevant to our city’s communities.
We are a historic part of and supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and we are proud to have hosted screenings for 50 years that focus on representing the full spirit of Chicago. Our Chicago Seen series is always bringing more community to our Firehouse Cinema hub, and we want to be able to expand our reach. (And expand what we can do for the extraordinary cineasts that make up our extended family.)

Take-A-Seat to become a permanent part of our beautiful community theater. Your tribute supports our mission to screen artistically innovative, socially relevant, and diverse films for local audiences to enjoy.
