Reeling Film Festival Intern

The Reeling Film Festival Intern works closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Director of Education in the planning and execution of the annual Reeling Film Festival. This position consists of outreach to volunteers, website management, festival promotion, and various admin tasks. Ideal candidates are self-starters with strong communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once. Reeling Graphic Design Intern

The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with the Director of Education and the Reeling Film Festival marketing team to assist in creating graphics for Reeling: The Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival happening in September 2026. The position involves designing the festival’s main graphic theme that will be used for the festival website, program booklet cover, and other promotional materials. Additionally, the graphic design intern will help format the festival booklet. Candidates are required to be familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Reeling Marketing and Communications Intern

The Marketing and Communications Intern at Chicago Filmmakers works closely with the Marketing Coordinator to manage the Reeling festival website and social media channels, write email communications, produce marketing related assets, and assist with audience development. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in marketing, familiarity with social media platforms, some graphic design capabilities and enthusiasm for independent film. Finance Intern

The Finance Intern works closely with the Executive Director to assist with various aspects of bookkeeping such as financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis. This internship provides the opportunity to learn about financial budgeting specifically geared towards a not-for-profit organization. Familiarity with Quickbooks is required.
