Chicago Filmmakers (map) | Saturday, May 18 at 7PM

As a part of Chicago Filmmakers’ ongoing retrospective of our 50 year history, we look back at the legacy of the Women in the Director’s Chair (WIDC) film festival with co-founder Gaylon Emerzian who will screen clips and short films from WIDC alums. Emerzian will be joined by Susan Kerns, co-founder of the Chicago Feminist Film Festival, to discuss the impact of WIDC and the current realities for female identifying filmmakers.

Join us at 6:30pm for a pre-screening reception!

To view the full films included in this program, buy tickets to the online screening HERE.

Chicago Filmmakers does not deny admission to those who do not have the ability to make a donation. Please email coop [at] chicagofilmmakers.org to inquire about free admission.
