A narrative film on B&W 16mm of a single mother hopelessly driving around a foreign town, in the harsh winter of the country. (2021, 9 mins)
CHERRY CANDIES | Directed by Matt Gehl and Yeasuh Ha
An experimental micro-short on 16mm. A rumination in solitude in a room in the world. (2022, 3 mins)
DOIS ESTAGIOS | Directed by Lua Borges
A 16mm poetic documentary that explores the beginning and end of a bloodline. The film delves into the personal and shared history of the director’s Brazilian family, and the explorations of her longing memory. (2020, 17 mins)
CIGALE | Directed by Chelsea Halloin
A tiny glimpse into the love shared between two girls during a gleaming summer day. Shot on 35mm. (2022, 3 mins)
PEROLA DO ATLANTICO | Directed by João Rubio Rubinato
A 16mm narrative film from São Paulo, Brazil. The film oversees an eerie energy hovering around the unequal urban landscapes of Guarujá when dismembered feet begin to wash ashore. Three stories mysteriously converge on the day another foot is found on the beach. (2021, 19 mins)

A metamodern love story on 16mm of a lonesome young painter struggling to re-assimilate into his mundane, technology driven routine after making brief connection with a passing stranger. (2021, 22 mins)
Chicago Filmmakers Firehouse Cinema
In-person screenings are held at Chicago Filmmakers firehouse cinema located at 1326 W Hollywood Ave in the Edgewater neighborhood. Please be sure to arrive 15 minutes prior to showtime and be ready to present your order confirmation number for admission. Proof of full vaccination or a negative Covid-19 PCR test result is required to attend all screenings and events.
