Introducing Masterwork: Industry Conversations, a new series of interviews with long established and award-winning filmmakers to learn in-depth details about their journey in the filmmaking world, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
The second event of our series Masterwork: Industry Conversations is all about Michelle Crenshaw, master of cinematography and longtime camera operator who freelances on features, episodic television and documentaries. She is currently working on CBS series Bob ❤ Abishola as a Camera Operator. Michelle Crenshaw worked as a cinematographer on independent shorts and features As Evil Does, Bridging The Divide: Tom Bradley and the Politics of Race and The New Black. When time allows, Ms. Crenshaw teaches part-time and lectures at colleges and community centers. As of 2018, she became an adjunct faculty for University of Southern California Cinematic Arts, and is an active member of the International Cinematographers Guild as a seated board member elected by members of the guild. A delegate of LA County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, she’s politically active in state workers protection and voter rights. Michelle Crenshaw will be joining us on Thursday, August 27 at 7 PM CST to talk more about her incredible journey through film and becoming a master at her work.
Registrants will receive an email to join the conversation after registering for the event. Co-op members may use the coop discount code at check out to register for free.
