Chicago Filmmakers provides financial support and assistance to Chicago-based independent filmmakers through two separate programs.
Our Fiscal Sponsorship program assists local filmmakers in their fundraising efforts by sponsoring productions under our non-profit status. Whether you are seeking funding or raising money to complete your next film, Chicago Filmmakers is here to help!
Our grants program, The Chicago Digital Media Production Fund, provides funding to filmmakers whose projects address current social issues. Grants range between $1,500 and $20,000. There are no current open calls for applications available, but sign up for our email list to receive the most up to date information.

Are you a filmmaker based in Cook County seeking funding for your project? Does your project encourage social change? You may be eligible for cash grants of up to $20,000!
