This class will be held online via Zoom on Sundays starting July 10 to August 14 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM CT.

In this six-week course, students will explore short-form storytelling in preparation for creating a web series. Through a series of class lectures as well as looking at current web series as case studies, students will begin to workshop their own web series episodes. Each student will leave the course with a greater understanding of the current landscape of web series and knowledge on how to write for micro-budget productions, opening up the possibility to make their own web series.

Once you register for the class, you will receive an email each week with a link to access the online classroom via Zoom. All class materials are included and will be emailed to registered students. 

Technical requirements: Students can access the course via a computer or smartphone. While access to a webcam or phone camera is preferable, only audio and the ability to view video are required. Students will need to install the Zoom app on their computer or smartphone, but no account is required.
