Cancellation & Refund Policy
Camp Cancellation by Chicago Filmmakers: Chicago Filmmakers reserves the right to cancel a program before its start due to lack of enrollment or other circumstances. We will notify registrants of cancellation as soon as possible and a full refund of camp fees will be issued.
Withdrawal from Camp: (Effective as of September 1, 2022) If a camper needs to withdraw from camp, a written request must be submitted to Chicago Filmmakers by email to coop@chicagofilmmakers.org. Please note the following dates. Exceptions to this policy may be made in the event of a medical emergency.
Before March 15: Full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
Between March 16 - April 30: 50% of tuition will be refunded.
On or after May 1: No refund will be issued.
Younger Campers
The program of each camp is designed with a specific age range in mind, though in the past we have had campers younger than our suggested age range interested in more advanced classes. If this is the case for your camper, please inform us before camp registration is complete so that we may discuss the prospect with the instructor. The camp instructor for any session has final say in whether or not a younger camper can join a session geared towards an older age group.
