This course will be held online via Zoom on Tuesdays, May 14 to June 11, from 6:30PM to 9:30PM CST.
The secret’s out: Producers are the ones who make it all happen. Pre-production and proper planning are essential to a successful feature-length film. Lectures and seminars will use real production case studies to cover budgeting, scheduling, casting, releases, permits, soliciting investors, script breakdowns, hiring crew, coordinating post-production, festivals, and distribution.
Technical requirements: Students can access the course via a computer or smartphone. While access to a webcam or phone camera is preferable, only audio and the ability to view video are required. Students will need to install the Zoom app on their computer or smartphone, but no account is required.
Class Materials: All class materials are included and will be emailed to registered students.
