Students (ages 13-17) work with a professional filmmaker in a comprehensive hands-on experience to learn how to navigatethe entire moviemaking process. This course will cover all aspects of digital video production, from initial concept to finished movie. Students will learn about pre-production planning, storyboarding, cameras, lighting, sound, shot composition, and computer editing, and will work collaboratively on group projects.

FOR TEENS AGES 13-17 // This one week primer will cover the basics of screenwriting: structure, exposition, scene propulsion, character building, and dialogue. Students will write and workshop two short pieces each, one prompted and one original. The goal of the workshop is for each student to complete at least one short, shootable script, and the skills to continue writing on their own.
